ST1 Raised Eye Pressure

Clinical Context:

You are the ST1 on-call. Mrs Lim, a 64-year old woman, presents to the Emergency Department in the middle of the night with severe right eye pain, blurred vision and nausea. She reports seeing halos around lights and on examination you find that her right eye is red with a mid-dilated pupil and corneal haze. The intraocular pressure is 68 and vision count fingers. The left eye is ok with a vision of 6/9 but you noticed a shallow anterior chamber with a healthy optic disc.
